Mass. Ave. Restaurant is every bit as no-nonsense as its name implies. The food isn't exactly gourmet, but it's easy on both your wallet and your hangover. Belly up to the counter for a cheap, filling plate of breakfast grub (pancakes $4, breakfast sandwiches $3). If brunch all day isn't your cup of tea, try one of the Tex-Mex entrees (nachos $5, enchiladas $7) or sandwich standbys (BLT $3.50). It's dark, you're altered, and everything here seems familiar—a little too familiar. A large pear-shaped form beckons you to the counter; it's Grimace. He's always seemed friendly, and lately you've wondered why. Hamburglar is busily stuffing pies in his pockets, and the Fry Guys seem to be walking upside down on the ceiling. As a kid, McDonald's, with its Happy Meals, french fries, and playground, was always a blast. You never had a bad time here; and now, you're tripping (over a chair). What changed, you or Mickey D's? Who knows; and in the meantime, Grimace is becoming angry and the Hamburglar is pilfering your wallet. You don't have much time. Hurry! But you can't make out the menu! Yell “Cheeseburger! Fries! The Asgard is a lovely place with a variety of comfy and cool places to sit and eat or enjoy a pint. The Asgard was designed in Ireland, with local artists helping us put the finishing touches on a truly one-of-a-kind bar. Check out Asgard Tuesdays at 9:00 pm. This is popular with a younger crowd who are becoming more engaged with trivia.

Definitely one of the coolest places around, The Middlesex, is more than just a bar, it's a scene. With low banks and tables to sit at, you can listen to DJ's spin, while tasting some of their reasonably priced beverages and munching on some of their appetizers.
