Once patrons make it past the hordes or Cambridge Rindge & Latin kids and construction workers, the food at Angelo’s Pizza is quite good … and cheap. Outside of Harvard Square on Broadway, this hidden haunt deviates from the typical hole-in-the-wall pizza dive with its whole-wheat crust and its cheese fries with mozzarella baked on top. Their bacon cheeseburger and steak bomb sub is greasy lunch-time food at its best.
