Thank you for your contribution. You've taken a huge step to making Povo the "word on the street,"
and we appreciate it very much. Because of the complexity of the "wiki text" and code that can be used
on Povo, in order to edit this section in the future you must click the "edit" button to the right of the section
heading (or for the whole page).
Live poultry, fresh killed? The Mayflower logo is almost as iconic as its fresh poultry ... we're talking just off the farm fresh. Ask the locals and they'll tell you that this is the go-to place for Turkey Day. Birds are delivered to their store in Cambridge according to the Mayflower's specifications, sized in two-pound increments: from 10-12 lbs. up to 28-30+ lbs. Craving a "Turducken" without the bones? You're in luck. The staff at the Mayflower are pros at de-boning you all-in-one turkey, duck and chicken for only $15.
This is your traditional fishmonger, family run and very knowledgable about fish. You can get sushi-grade tuna in 3 tiers of quality, as well as other fish. They always have a good variety, and you never know what's new coming in. Just ask about specials. The fish is very fresh, if you look at the fish in the window you will see that the eyes are plump and intact. That's how you can tell an old fish, the eyes will be sunken in and rotting away. High quality seafood, a little pricey, but oh so worth it!!!
Graffiti is a place for quick notes. Know the hours of a business but not sure where to put it? Did something just happen at this place? Leave some graffiti.
Sometimes street view does not point exactly to the right place. You may need to "drive around" a bit.
