Kotobukiya Market & Video Rental

No Votes
Template:Grocery
A true Japanese supermarket, Kotobukiya supplies anything from rice candy and seaweed to Japanese books and magazines, rice cookers, teapots, cosmetics—even Japanese antifreeze. Most labels are in Japanese, but the staff will translate if asked. Video rentals (Japanese, no subtitles) are $1 for 2 nights/3 days, and $2 for 7 nights/8 days. No membership or annual fees. Around the corner is the “Common Market” where you'll find a fish market, a Japanese bakery, and a counter-style restaurant featuring ramen, rice, and sushi.

Great little shop with a lot of good stuff for the size. Onigiri to grab and go, magazines with plenty of Engrish such as Men's Egg (nothing to do with eggs), and Japanese coffee served in cans, in the warmer.
