Their slogan is “If it isn't fresh, it isn't Legal,” and their food definitely lives up to it. Legal is known for having some of the finest, freshest, albeit priciest, seafood in all of New England. Particularly delicious are the clam chowder—traditionally served at Presidential Inaugural Balls—the crab-stuffed shrimp, and seafood casserole in garlic and sherry sauce, among others. The place is always full and the waitstaff is friendly and helpful. It's a good idea to call ahead for reservations. Entrees $18+.
