Dance Complex

Remember that childhood dream you had of becoming a belly dancer? Or that nightmare you had about dancing ballet naked in front of an audience of your peers? Whether it's for a one-off session or a semester-long enrollment, Dance Complex can help you realize your dreams, although your deep-seated psychological problems and tendencies toward public nudity are best left at the door. A vast schedule of African, tap, salsa, yoga, Indian, hip hop, modern, and more fills the 6 spacious dance studios of this facility run by volunteers and artists alike. Classes cost $8-13 each (usually 1-2hr). Their unique work-study program allows you to earn credit to put toward lessons or rehearsal for every hour you work. You can see the detailed schedule here.
