Located a block north of the Law School on Mass. Ave., Three Aces Pizza has been in business for over 30 years, serving up Harvard grads (and now, their children) with filling college grinds for dirt-cheap prices. But prices aren't the only thing that hasn't changed in Three Aces' long run: the wooden booths with low-hanging red glass chandeliers and old-school table top video games (an ancient Ms. Pac Man) lend a retro cool decor that has withstood the test of time. Try one of Three Aces' pizzas (small $5-7, large $10-11), calzones, or grinders ($5-9), or say “to hell with my arteries” and dig in to their Ziti à la Three Aces—a heart-stopping ziti extravaganza that packs in mushrooms, ham, sausage, bacon, and loads of mozzarella cheese, all for $7.25. You may cut 3 years off of your life, but man, what a way to go. Entrees $4-10.
