Kimchi Soup is good for the Seoul at this deli-converted-restaurant between Harvard and Porter Square. Serving an array of “Korean Home Cooking,” Seoul Food provides a humble atmosphere that makes dining a quaint, albeit sometimes awkward experience (though dining in is an option, take-out is clearly the norm). The modest menu offerings include a wide selection of vegetarian and meat dishes that can be spiced to the diner's delight. Try the palatable Pork Kimchi Boken ($13), and leave room for one of the restaurant's prided Big Bowl Specials ($9-12). Entrees $8-16. Though the wacky hair-do machine of Hanna Barbera fame is conspicuously missing, Judy Jetson's still gives pretty great hair cuts with a little old-fashioned sass. Voted #1 hair salon in Cambridge from infinity and beyond, Judy Jetson Hair lives up to its space-age cartoon namesake with out-of-this-world decor and futuristic hairstyling. Preppies need not shy away from the punky stylists who are used to serving everyone from trendy yuppies to jet-setting Harvard students to alternative rockers and their middle-aged mothers. In addition to the full spectrum of haircuts ($45+), their services include colorings ($75+), highlights ($100-150), perms ($100), and the oh-so-indulgent scalp massage ($40). Appointments are highly recommended but walk-ins are welcome, especially when the salon is least busy (weekday mornings and early afternoons).
